BOmagz managed to have a little chat with Lion Parcel’s CEO, Mr. Gunardi. BO and Lion Parcel did a partnership during the launch of BO pop-up store at Plaza Indonesia on May 5th, 2017. Those who are yet familiar with the company, in short Lion Parcel is a courier services serving which supported by Lion Group airline company.
Thank you for coming to the launching event. So what do you think about the event?
“It was quite interesting, I myself like to observe the fashion and apparel business. I think it marks a good step, innovation wise, because I know that Brand Outlet also promotes its private labels. And as I browsed the store, I also learned about the trends in the fashion industry. So overall, it’s interesting.”
Brand Outlet targets millennials and the partnership also caters to grab the millennials’ attention. Could you share us your thoughts about the partnership?
“We are happy to be part of this partnership with Brand Outlet, because as I noticed that the look represents today’s generation, the so called millennials, and the products sold in both online as well as offline spread across the country and Lion Parcel is delighted to a the part of it. Plus, BO decided to install its pop-up store, which in my opinion is quite a significant step.”
“I hope the best for Brand Outlet to grow faster, steadier, and I also hope that BO establishes its strong point to be known by the public who love fashion. What I also like about this pop-up store concept is that BO knows that Indonesians are probably still hesitant to buy things online, branded or non-branded goods, and BO approach them up close by installing the store.”
What we can expect from Lion Parcel for the next five years?
“We are quite aggressive and ambitious. We want to be a major of courier services industry in the next five years. And we’ll be one of the leading courier companies for the next five years. We are now expanding to the top tier of e-commerce, also second tier.”
